The cities bustling streets, its shining, modern office towers, and its cosmopolitan air project an unbounded spirit of progress and symbolize Malaysias unhesitating leap into the future. To some, this spirit seems to have been gained at the loss of ancient cultural traditions, but in many ways it marks the continuation rather than the loss of Malaysias rich past.

These areas also throb with the excitement of nightlife and evening entertainment.

Kuala Lumpur enjoys a year round equatorial climate which is warm and sunny, along with plentiful rainfall, especially during the southwest monsoon from April to September.
